"Defeat Leukemia with Faith, Family and Will" True Inspiration

When my sister came up with "Defeat Leukemia with Faith, Family and Will" True Inspiration with the idea to start selling t-shirts to add to the fundraising, we thought, "Well we need a saying and logo". After looking at lots of designs that were out there we were contemplating using one of them but that didn't feel right. We wanted something to convey that we are not fighting this alone and that God and family are playing a major role in the fight. We wanted to include them in the message. And then one evening as I was contemplating the theme the Spirit whispered "Defeat Leukemia with Faith, Family, and Will" It was perfect. It covered everything. First, it all begins with Faith in God and his plan. Second Family and Friends provide so much support during the challenges of life and finally third Will. Beating cancer isn't for wimps and you have to tap into your inner will to get through treatment and discouragement. While sharing this idea with my friend Shane last night I came to realize that Will not only means willpower but in reality, it means to turn your will over to the Lord. As President Benson taught "Men and women who turn their lives over to God will discover that He can make a lot more out of their lives than they can." He knows what is the best way to get through all of these challenges. Now how do we communicate that?

I am not an artist and needed some help. So I reached out to a friend Will Thorup (https://williamthorup.com) who is a motion graphics artist for some help. So he went to work and came up with some great design and after a lot of input from family and friends, we settled on the current design. It was all coming together and now we just need a way to use it and sell t-shirts. The search began and I found a service that prints on demand and then a service that provides a store to sell from.
